Another commission sketch. I really like doing these; it really frees me up and gives me the chance to experiment with new techniques and mediums. I've got a couple more Frozen related sketches in mind, so I'll keep people posted! I'm also thinking about another personal project to do, and I'm thinking about doing another graphic novel, this time based on an Edgar Allan Poe story, the Cask of Amontillado. Doing these sketches is nice, but I already miss that feeling of digging into a story and doing story based drawings. At least I won't have to worry about copyright this time since the story is in the common domain. It will be a great chance to work on my spot blacks and really work up my environment into something more gothic and creepy, like Mike Mignola's Hellboy. My only reservation is that the story is more story than character (does that even make sense) and I would enjoy it more if there were characters I could really dig into rather than just a story that happens to the people involved. I will keep looking for my next project!

A couple more personalized sketches for books that I'm sending out. In the midst of my studying (I'm back to studying for actuarial exams), I got my books from LithoNinja and the printing is top notch! Some of the margins are a little thin, I probably should have been a little safer with those. I'm sending out the books now and I'm trying to include drawings in them.
